Custom Designs are designs I do  (commissioned) for people who come to me with an idea, a design in mind, a simple sketch that needs fixing, or people who just want something special and exclusive.
May that be a key, a name of your child, a coverup, I will do my best to astonish you with the final design.

Paintings

  Most of these paintings belong in the private collection of Chris and are mostly not for sale. Some of them, however, have found their forever homes in the hands of their respective new owners. Chris would like to thank personally each and every one of the collectors and buyers of his paintings. It gives great happiness and satisfaction to any artist to know that his art is being appreciated and desired. Paintings 2012

A collection of paintings done in 2012. With the exception of the Sean Connery painting that was done on a canvas, all of the other paintings were performed with a custom technique Chris developed. It includes, using Venetian plaster  - also known as Stucco Venecciano. A very time consuming, exhausting and hard process of layering plaster upon plaster, and then hard pressing down on it after it has dried, to reveal shine and texture with all the underlying layers. This gives an effect closely resembling  marble, but the techniques and results can vary, as so can the colors. ( This is the same technique being used in some of the most expensive homes and five star hotels, to create the effect of huge marble stones on walls, corridors and rooms. ) Finally, after the process of the venetian plaster is completed, the canvases were then painted on top with various designs, mostly horses, which are one of Chris favorite subjects.

Paintings 2011

 A collection of paintings done in 2011, in a time when Chris was mostly exploring new ideas and abstract art. These include among others, landscapes, seascapes, Japanese influenced art, abstract floral patterns, silhouettes of horses, a symbolic painting of a mother and her fetus, and an experimentation painting in the abstract expressionist techniques of Jackson Pollock.

More Paintings

 A collection of paintings created between 2004 and 2010, during a period that Chris characterizes as filled with restlessness and self discovery. These include among others, oil paintings of horses, love and pain of the soul ( il dolore e l'amore dell'anima ), and many spray paintings with planetary illustrations and illustrations of the cosmos and galaxy.
